Michelle Gegenheimer forwarded your generous offer to me so that we can coordinate with your fundraising efforts.

The NOMC is up and running and temporarily relocated to Lafayette, Louisiana. The needs of New Orleans musicians are immense. In addition to the medical services that we normally provide to our patients, we are working to fund replacement housing, clothing, and other necessities as we work through this crisis.

Regrettably, relief efforts are disjointed in Louisiana. The American Red Cross is the focus of a majority of private donations and they do not address the specific needs of our artists. Accordingly, it is only through organizations like NOrMAL that we are able to target the re-establishment of our cultural treasure, the music of New Orleans. Yet, this cultural heritage is the heart and soul of our City and the NOMC is committed to restoring this treasure.
